Surrogate Tapping with EFT

Dear Mildred,
I am reading an EFT article regarding “the problem with forgiveness” and on the page was a link to a page of your articles on experiences with EFT.  While perusing the different topics on the page, I came across your comments about surrogate tapping.  I am interested in surrogate tapping, but not sure how to frame the statements.  Do you make them in the first person while we tap on ourselves, or do we use the person’s name while we tap on ourselves?  It has always been a question for me, and has prevented me from attempting it!  Thank you in advance for the clarification.
Warm Regards from New Hampshire,

Dear Nicole.

This is a question that I have been asked before, so thank you for giving me the opportunity to address it in my EFTEdmonton blog.

The anwer is that both methods work equally well.  You can frame the sentences in the first person as I did for Haiti and its people here.

Or you can tap for the person, using their name. I prefer the first technique myself, but others have used the latter technique with success. Remember that the key here is about intention.  What you intend is what happens as with much of energy work.  The more you do, the more you will understand this.
